Wyatt Blaine "Boo" Zirk

Wyatt Blaine Boo Zirk, age 61 of Warden Circle Road, Wardensville, WV passed away January 2, 2018 at his residence. Born on August 31, 1956 in Detroit, MI, he was a son of the late Wilson Cornwell Corney Zirk and Maude Estelle Nip Friddle Zirk. A nephew B.J. Zirk also preceded him in death. Boo was a graduate of Moorefield High School and Fairmont State University and was a teacher and coach for Hardy County Schools for many years. He enjoyed hunting and loved coaching youth league football and basketball for boys and girls. He was considered a diehard L.A. Rams fan and had a large collection of Rams memorabilia. Surviving is a brother, Joseph C. Joe Zirk of Moorefield, WV; a sister, Cecelia Tee Reed of Farmville, VA and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held beginning at 7:00 PM, Thursday January 18, 2018 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Mike Funkhouser as officiant. The family will receive from 5 7 at the funeral home.
