William Phillip Hunt

William Phillip ?Bill? Hunt, age 55 of Burlington, WV formerly of Moorefield, WV, passed away Friday evening, September 9, 2005 at Potomac Valley Hospital in Keyser, WV. Born June 4, 1950 in Moorefield, he was the son of the late William Eugene & Dorothy Mae (Cleaver) Hunt. He was the acting Principal of Moorefield Middle School, was a past football, track, basketball and volleyball coach, was with the Hardy County Schools for 30 years and was the 1999 Hardy County Teacher of the Year. A devoted father and grandfather he is survived by his fiance, Brenda Stickley of Burlington, WV; two sons, Will F. Hunt and Justin Hunt of Moorefield; a daughter, Mykia Keplinger of Moorefield; two sisters, Cathy Hesse of Manassas, VA and Cindy Womack of Chiefland, FL; four grandchildren, Kaleigh, Kolby & Kade Hunt and McKinley Keplinger and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at the Moorefield Church of the Brethren with Pastor Harold Garber officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 9 PM Monday at the Moorefield Church of the Brethren.
