William Albert Flinn, Sr. ?Bill? age 63 of Lost River State Park Road, Moorefield, WV passed away Friday afternoon, April 2, 2010 near Moorefield. Born February 9, 1947 in Camp Campbell, KY, he was the son of the late French A. & Gay W. (Shoemaker) Flinn. A sister preceded him in death. He was a member of the Harpers Chapel Church of the Brethren, and a member of the Moorefield Lodge # 29 A.F. & A.M. Surviving is his wife, Marjorie (McCauley) Flinn; five sons, Gary E. Jewell (wife Amanda) of Elgin, SC, Denver M. Flinn of Moorefield, WV, David A. Flinn (girlfriend Robin) of Dorcas, WV, William A. Flinn, Jr. (wife Maria) of Moorefield, WV and Benjamin F. Flinn (girlfriend Heather) of Franklin, WV; three daughters, Becky Hardesty (husband Tim) of Oakland, MD, Sabrina Dyke of Moorefield, WV and Lisa Taylor (husband Albert) of Hogansville, GA; a brother, Jack W. Flinn of Moorefield, WV; a sister, Marsha Myers (husband Wayne) of Moorefield, WV and 11 grandchildren, Heather Jewell, Hannah Jewell, Noah Purser, Caleb Purser, Ashley Hardesty, Colton Dyke, Devin Dyke, Austin Barr, Hayden Flinn, Cody Taylor and Troy Taylor (wife Amara) and a great-granddaughter, Lory Taylor. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, April 5, 2010 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., where they family will receive friends from 12:00 PM (Noon) until time of services.
