Wanda Lee Crites

Wanda Lee Crites, age 81 of Walnut Bottom Road, Fisher, WV, passed away Tuesday morning, December 15, 2015 at the Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg, WV. Born August 30, 1934 in Kessel, WV, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Levi Baldwin and Velva Catherine (Kuykendall) Baldwin. Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death. An excellent seamstress who made wedding gowns for some of her daughters, she enjoyed gardening by raising beautiful flowers and wonderful tomatoes. For enjoyment she and her husband would embark on Sunday drives and would return bearing fruit or vegetables they found on their way. Her large family was her love and passion, as she cared for each of them through her life. Surviving is her loving husband of 63 years, Emory N. Crites; two sons, Leslie P. Buck Crites and Douglas E. & Cindy Crites of Fisher, WV & five daughters; Karen Colasessano of Moorefield, WV, Aneita & Rick Shirk of Old Fields, WV, Jenny & Roger Riggleman of Moorefield, WV, Marsha & Richard Fulcher of New Holland, PA and Amy Jo & Allan Kile of Fisher, WV; a special son, Jeff Wilkins of Romney, WV; a brother, Kurt Baldwin of Cockeysville, MD, thirteen grandchildren; Josh Shirk, Adam Colasessano, Ashley Shirk Fitzwater, Matt Riggleman, Sarah Fulcher, Brooke Fulcher Fisher, Clint Riggleman, Allie Crites Rohrbaugh, Cassie Rinker, Katlin Shirk, Meagan Crites, Paige Crites & Lindsey Rinker and six great-grandchildren; Micah, Wyatt, Dylan, Sawyer, Addison & Cole. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Kessel Road, Fisher, WV with Pastors Rebecca VanStavern & Brad Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at the Fultz Cemetery, Fisher, WV. The family will receive friends from 1 7 PM Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church.
