Waldo Neff See

Waldo Neff See, age 85 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 29, 2021 at Stonerise of Keyser in Keyser, WV. Born on August 18, 1935 in Hardy County, WV, he was a son of the late, Joseph Neff See and Lula Easter Wolfe See. A daughter, Kathy Wratchford , four brothers and five sisters also preceded him in death. He is the last member of his immediate family.

Waldo had retired from ROCCO Poultry on August 30, 1996 after working as a chicken catcher for 22 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing in his spare time. He loved to listen and was a huge fan of Johnny Cash, he also enjoyed spending time with his family and his cats, especially “Fat Boy”. He was a faithful member of the Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren.

Surviving is his wife of 61 years, Mary Lou Whetzel See; two sons, Ricky Brian (Audrea) See and Daniel J. (Karen) See of Moorefield, WV; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00 AM Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Gary Shirk, Jr. & Doug Tusing as officiants. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Gardens near Moorefield. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
