Violet Genevieve Wimer

Violet Genevieve Wimer, age 82 of Morgantown, WV formerly of Annandale, VA; passed away Sunday morning, December 16, 2007 at the Windy Hill Manor Personal Care Home in Kingwood WV. Born December 18, 1924 in Gettysburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Walter J. & Mary A. (Welton) Martin. Her husband, William H. Wimer preceded her in death in December 1993. A brother, William J. Martin, Jr. also preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Martin and husband William of Morgantown, WV & Kitty Wimer of Morgantown, WV; a step-son, John W. Wimer of Winchester, VA; two brothers, Leonard and wife Juanita Martin of Moorefield, WV & Robert and wife Cathie Martin of Annandale, VA; two sisters, Ila and husband Robert Smith of Martinsburg, WV & Ludie Bensenhaver of Clermont, FL; a grandson, Scott Martin and four step-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, December 21, 2007 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV, with Pastor Lois Harder officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Thursday at the Fraley Funeral Home.
