Vicki Lynn Kershner

Vicki Lynn Kershner, age 43 of Frosty Hollow Road, Fisher, WV, passed away Friday morning, December 3, 2021 at INOVA Hospital in Falls Church, VA. Born on May 11, 1978 in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of William Patrick O’Connor and Bonnie Christine Fadley. Father Gary Duane Hood Sr. and brother James Elden William Richard Hood preceded her in death.

Vicki worked as a home health attendant in Moorefield and Rig, WV. Vicki had a caring and kind heart, always ready to lend an ear and offer support to those in need. Her family was everything to her. She was a devoted, loving wife, loved her children, and expected granddaughter dearly. She loved her plants and gardening. She loved music and could always be found singing. She also enjoyed reading, musicals, and movies. She loved her dogs and leaves behind her German Shepherds Molly and Rhea. She was compassionate and empathetic, ready to lend a hand to whomever she could.

Surviving is her husband, John Michael Kershner Jr.; their children, Ryan Shayn Grimm, Mickayla Shay Grimm-Swick, Adreen Faith Kershner, and Riley Michael James Kershner; she was excited to be a grandmother to expected granddaughter, Ivy Joy Grimm-Swick; parents, William Patrick O’Connor and stepmother Roxie Anne O’Connor and Bonnie Christine Fadley and step-father Allen Hubert Fadley; brother, Jarrod Robert O’Connor; sister, Caitlin Virginia Davis; grandparents, Vernon and Norma Campbell; and in-law, Mary Charlotte Kershner.

Funeral Services will be conducted 6:00 PM Thursday, December 9, 2021, at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor D. J. Taylor officiant. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until time of services at 6:00 PM.

Due to the current COVID-19 recommendations, wearing of masks and social distancing by individuals unvaccinated is recommended.
