Vernon Wayne Schwab

Vernon Wayne Rawhide Schwab, age 72 of Fisher, WV, passed away Thursday evening, January 16, 2014 at his residence. Born October 22, 1941 in Olney, MD, he was the son of Eula Mae (Riggleman) Schwab of Germantown, MD and the late William J. Schwab. A retired truck driver for Coca-Cola, he was a US Air Force veteran and a past member of the V.F.W. His wife, Shelia D. (Hutter) Schwab preceded him in death in July 2012. Surviving are a daughter, Christi Snyder (husband Michael) of Fisher, WV; a son, Steven W. Helms (wife Karen) of Trenton, SC; a step-daughter, Dawn Orem-Dolly (husband Brandon) of Swanton, MD; a step-son, David Lee Orem of Sierra Vista, AZ; a brother, Warren J. Schwab (wife Joy) of Gaithersburg, MD and eight grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 3:00 PM Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Michael Snyder officiating. Interment will follow at the Hutter Family Cemetery, Fisher, WV. The family will receive friends from 1 3 PM Sunday prior to services.
