Velma Snyder

Velma Catherine Snyder, age 86 of Rohrbaugh Avenue, Moorefield, WV passed away Sunday morning, October 20, 2002 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born October 6, 1916 in Davis, WV she was a daughter of the late Orie & Ella (Judy) Hinkle. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Snyder in May 1996, she was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. She was a member of the Davis Methodist Church. Surviving are Daughters, Ethel Coby of Moorefield and Edna Dotson of Falls Church, VA; a brother, Ray Hinkle of Loch Lynn, MD; three Sisters, Elsie Sponagule of Franklin, WV; Reba Guillams of Washington, DC and Geraldine Flower of San Bernadino, CA; six grandchildren & 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 23, 2002 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Otis ?Buzz? Weatherholt officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM at the Davis Cemetery at Davis, WV. The family will receive friends from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM Tuesday at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield.
