Velma Kathalyn Hutter

Velma Kathalyn Hutter, age 92, of Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2005 at her residence. Born January 30, 1913 in Hardy County, WV she was the daughter of the late Joseph Gottlieb Woerner & Estelle (Bergdall) Woerner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolphus Gottlieb ?Dick? Hutter on April 8, 1996, a daughter, Mary Louise Forkner and son-in-laws Ruell Hollis Martin and Clyde M. Weatherholtz. She was a member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church, a member of the Old Fields Farm Women?s Club and the Board of Directors of the Hardy County Committee on Aging. Surviving are two daughters; Joan H. Weatherholtz of Columbia MD & Helen H. ?Sammy? Martin of Moorefield, WV; one sister, Eula W. Sherman of Fisher, WV; four grandchildren, Ruell H. ?Holly? Martin II of Moorefield, WV; Sharon Wratchford of Moorefield, WV; Karin Maxin of Parkersburg, WV and Cynthia Kight of Richmond, VA; and eight great-grandchildren, Colleen, Matthew, Jared, Benjamin, Kathalyn, Mitch, Caleb and Samantha. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 16, 2005, at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church with Pastor Judy Vetter officiating. Internment will follow at the Hider Cemetery on Ogden Farm Rd near Moorefield. Mrs. Hutter will be taken to the church one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
