Tressa Lynn Flanagan

Tressa Lynn Short Flanagan, age 47 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday evening, August 6, 2020 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born on January 27, 1973 in Petersburg, WV, she was a daughter of Delores Jean Iman Short of Moorefield, WV and the late Franklin Short.

A member of the Slanesville Presbyterian Church, she enjoyed spending time with her family especially the grandchildren, if only for a visit or to care for them as she loved most kids, babysitting in her home for years. She could artfully craft a snack for everyone, including truckloads of dip, and enjoyed cooking for her family.

Surviving is her husband, Jeffrey Allen Flanagan; two sons, Brian See and Kody Flanagan of Moorefield, WV; three sisters, Jeanie E. Kimble, Kathy Short and Donna Shockey all of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Lawrence F. Short of Moorefield, WV; three grandchildren, Ashlynn, Addyson & Ambyrlen and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00 AM Monday, August 10, 2020 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Michael Cheshire as officiant. Interment will follow in the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 – 7 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, wearing of masks and social distancing will be required at the funeral home at all times.
