Thomas Eugene Whetzel

Thomas Eugene Tommie Whetzel, age 53 of Lost River State Park Road, Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday evening, May 8, 2018 at the Grant Rehabilitation & Care Center in Petersburg, WV. Born on March 19, 1965 in Petersburg, WV, he was a son of Betty Lee (Jenkins) Whetzel of Moorefield, WV and the late Eugene Franklin Whetzel. In addition to his father, a brother, Timothy Allen Whetzel also preceded him in death. Surviving in addition to his mother is a sister, Tammy Sites of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Rodney F. Whetzel of Moorefield, WV; nephews, Patrick Greenwalt and Eric Turner and nieces, Tiffany Turner and Kaitlyn Sites. Graveside Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Olivet Cemetery with Pastor Johnnie Stump officiating. Interment will follow. There is no public visitation.
