Thelma Ernestine Malone

Thelma Ernestine Malone, age 75 of Williams Street, Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday evening, December 15, 2008 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born November 6, 1933 in Capon Springs, WV, she was the daughter of the late Branson O. & Mabel May (Cooper) Himelwright. Her husband, Roy W. Malone preceded her in death in October 1994. She was retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years service and served as the Postmaster of the Fisher (WV) Post office for many years. Surviving is a son, Jason Malone of Winchester, VA; a granddaughter, Hana Lauren Malone of Winchester, VA and a sister, Wilda V. Heishman of Winchester, VA. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the Fraley Funeral Chapel, 107 Washington St.,with Pastors Russell & Lucy Webster officiating. Interment will follow at the Hebron Lutheran Church Cemetery (Capon Lake), Yellow Springs, WV. The family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 PM Friday.
