Sylvia May Crites

Sylvia May Crites, age 85 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Sunday evening, November 26, 2006 at Hampshire Center, Romney, WV. Born April 19, 1921 in Purgitsville, WV, she was a daughter of the late Charles N. & Mary Susan (Leatherman) Helman. She was retired from Rockingham Poultry of Moorefield and was a member of the Moorefield Church of the Brethren. Her husband, Charles A. Crites preceded her in death in July 1991. A granddaughter, two sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Gerald M. Helman & Larry E. Helman of Moorefield, WV; a sister, Rosemary Hedrick of Moorefield, WV; three grandchildren, Sonja Judy, Larry Helman, Jr. & Linda Helman and two great-grandchildren, Heather Jewell & Alia Helman. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Harold Garber officiating. Interment will follow in the Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 PM and the family will receive friends from 6 ? 9 PM Tuesday at the Fraley Funeral Home.
