Susan Gore Macbeth

Susan Gore Macbeth, age 69 of Sunnyside Drive, Weston, WV formerly of Moorefield, WV, passed away Friday evening, May 4, 2007 at Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston, WV. Born March 7, 1938 in Winchester, VA she was a daughter of the late Claude T. & Eva (Lamp) Gore. Surviving is her husband of 46 years, Bruce A. Macbeth; a son, Drew Macbeth and wife Jonell of Berryville, VA; a daughter, Liz Macbeth-Garton of Jane Lew, WV and son-in-law Marty K. Garton of Weston, WV; and three granddaughters, Teneille, Schyler & Emma. Mrs. Macbeth was an elementary school teacher for 43 years having taught in Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia. She grew up on Clear Brook, VA and graduated from James Wood High School with the ?Class of 1956.? She was a graduate of Madison College, which is now James Madison University. She was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church of Weston. A Memorial Service was held on Monday, May 7, 2007 at St. Matthew United Methodist Church with the Rev. Johnathan Nettles officiating. A private committal service preceded the memorial service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Jane Lew. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the Moorefield Presbyterian Church in Moorefield with Pastor Katherine Jackson officiating.
