Stephen Wayne Edgington

Stephen Wayne Edgington, age 58 of Charleston, WV formerly of Old Fields, WV, passed away Saturday evening, January 11, 2014 at University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY. Born April 4, 1955 in Bladensburg, MD, he was the son of the late Elmer Martin Edgington and Ruth Cecelia (McMahon) Edgington. A NASCAR enthusiast he rooted for Tony Stewart but being born and raised in Maryland he was and will always be a Redskins fan. Surviving is a daughter Alexandra (husband Joey) Barger of Old Fields, WV; a son, Christopher S. (wife Emily) Edgington of Cypress, TX; a sister, Debbie ONeal of Annapolis, MD; four brothers, David Edgington of Charleston, WV, Dennis Edgington of Bowie, MD, Scott Edgington of Crofton, MD and Gary Edgington of Chesapeake Beach, MD; six grandchildren, Austin, William, Kylee, Savannah, Joseph & C.J. and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St. Interment will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Old Fields, WV. The family will receive friends from 5 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
