Stella Mae Wratchford

Stella Mae Wratchford, age 72 of Cold Spring Road, Moorefield, WV, passed Wednesday morning, February 27, 2008 at her residence after a long illness. Born January 3, 1936 in Moorefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert J. & Mary C. (Strawderman) Hartman. She attended the Moorefield Baptist Church and a member of the Red Hat Society. Two sisters preceded her in death. Surviving is her husband of 55 years, Russell J. Wratchford; two sons, Clyde Wratchford & Bennie Wratchford of Moorefield, WV; four brothers, Lee Hartman of Standersville, VA, Kenneth Hartman of Brandy Station, VA, W.J. Hartman, Jr. of Locust Dale, VA and Richard Hartman of Culpepper, VA; three sisters, Betty Harper & Evelyn Zaun of Moorefield, WV and Judith Vandeavander of Fort Seybert, WV; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Matt Lyon officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM.
