Shirley Mae Crites

Shirley Mae Crites, age 71 of Rig, WV passed away Thursday afternoon, March 22, 2007 at the E. A. Hawse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Baker, WV. Born April 16, 1935 in Hardy Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late John & Clara A. (Moyers) Shreve. She was the last member of her immediate family. She had been a resident of E.A. Hawse for over two years; was the secretary of the Critestown Water Association for many years; and was a member of the Rig Assembly of God Church. Her husband of 52 years, Tommie L. Crites, Sr. preceded her in death in April 2005. A grandson, two sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Tommie L. Crites, Jr. and wife Debbie of Moorefield, WV & Terry A. Crites and wife Tonia of Rig, WV; two daughters, Carolyn Crites and Eddie Reel of Petersburg, WV & Kitty Hose and husband Bobby of Old Fields, WV; four grandchildren, Rachael McCausley, Jerud Crites, Amber Crites & Felicia Sharff; a great-granddaughter, Katie McCausley; a special nephew, Gerald Crites and numerous other nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, March 25, 2007 at the Rig Assembly of God Church with Pastor Brad Taylor & Wade Armentrout officiating. Interment will follow at the Newhouse Cemetery, Rig, WV. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Saturday at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield. Mrs. Crites will be taken to the church 1 hour prior to services on Sunday.
