Ruth Ann Swiger

Ruth Ann Swiger, age 65 of Backwoods Lane, Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday, January 10, 2005 at her residence. Born September 6, 1939 in Harrison Co., WV she was a daughter of the late Archie A. & Flossie B. (Carnes) Todd. Her husband, Alfred J. ?Bud? Swiger, preceded her in death in July 2004. A brother and a sister also preceded her in death. She was a member of the New Life Tabernacle Church of Moorefield. Surviving are two sons, Alfred J. Fred? Swiger, Jr. of Poland, NY and Kenny Davis of Moorefield, WV; four daughters, Deloras Alexander of New Port Richey, FL, Vivian Abe of Strasburg, VA, Christina Kittredge of Gore, VA and Brenda Sandy of Stephens City, VA; a brother, Roy D. ?John? Todd of West Milford, WV, a sister, Margaret J. Fury of Pennsboro, WV; sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, January 14, 2005 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with the Rev. Richard Glass officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of services on Friday at the funeral home.
