Ruth Elizabeth McDonald

Ruth Elizabeth McDonald, age 74 of Old Fields, WV formerly of Moorefield, WV; passed away Tuesday evening, July 25, 2006 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born June 19, 1932 in Paw Paw, WV she was the daughter of the late Oscar L. & Nora V. (Graviel) Day. Her husband, Garrett McDonald preceded her in death in August 1988. A son, a grandson, two brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death. Surviving are five sons, Gary McDonald of Sugar Grove, WV, Terry McDonald of West Bend, WI, Barry McDonald & Jerry McDonald of Moorefield, WV, and Perry McDonald of Old Fields, WV; a daughter, Mary Thacker of Winchester, VA; a step-son, Roy McDonald of Moorefield, WV; three brothers, Donald Day of Spotsylvania, VA, Bobby Day of Keyser, WV and Larry Day of Baltimore, MD; two sisters, Ruby D. Agnew of Mt. Storm, WV and Wilda D. Agnew of Bayard, WV; fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 29, 2006 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor John Agnew officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 7 ? 9 PM Friday at the Fraley Funeral Home.
