Ruth Evans Hardy

Ruth Evans Hardy, age 79 of Rig West Road, Rig, WV, passed away Saturday morning, November 28, 2009 at the E.A. Hawse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Baker, WV. Born February 2, 1930 in Hardy Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late Edwin ?Eb? & Ida (Riggleman) Evans. She was a member of the Oak Dale Christian Church. Brothers, Glenn Evans & Vincent Evans and sisters, Blanche Riggleman & Kathryn Bensenhaver preceded her in death. She was the last member of her immediate family. Active in her church and the Rig Civic Center she was a lifelong resident of Rig. Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Paul W. Hardy; a son, Terry Hardy and wife Kathy of Moorefield, WV and two granddaughters, Sarah Hardy of Burlington, VT and Anne Hardy of Silver Spring, MD. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Lynn Rohrbaugh officiating. Interment will follow at the Newhouse Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the E. A.
