Russell James Wratchford

Russell James Wratchford, age 86 of Cold Spring Road, Moorefield, WV, passed away Wednesday evening, November 11, 2009 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born March 3, 1923 in Hardy County, WV he was the son of the late James W. & Martha (Hartman) Wratchford. His wife of 55 years, Stella (Hartman) Wratchford preceded him in death in February 2008. Three brothers also preceded him in death. He was the owner/operator of Russell & Sons garage for 32 years. Surviving are two sons, Clyde Wratchford & Bennie Wratchford of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Blaine Wratchford of Moorefield, WV; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Matt Lyon officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 ? 8 PM Friday evening at the funeral home.
