Roy Ellis Hartman

Roy Ellis Hartman, age 82 of Fairmont, WV passed away Sunday, October 21, 2007 at The Arbors of Fairmont Nursing Home after a long illness. Born February 12, 1925 in Hampshire Co., WV he was a son of the late Burr & Carrie (Davy) Hartman. He was a veteran of the US Army of WWII. Surviving is his wife of 63 years, Edna (Rinker) Hartman; his two children, Carl Hartman of Grant Town, WV & Carolyn Cheuvront of Fairmont, WV; two brothers, Bill & Burr Hartman of Moorefield, WV; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Roy has been cremated and his ashes are to be scattered on High Knob and Spruce Knob Lake, his favorite hunting and fishing spots.
