Rose Marie Wilson

Rose Marie Wilson, age 62 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the E.A. Hawse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Baker, WV. She was born on July 2, 1954 in Petersburg, WV a daughter of the late Roy Renix Wilson and Virginia Whetzel Wilson. She was a 1972 graduate of Moorefield High School. She enjoyed cooking, her fur babies (cats & dogs), her flowers but just being outdoors. Rose worked for many years at Hesters in Moorefield. A brother also preceded her in death. Surviving are two sisters, Betty Wilson Stump of Radcliff, KY and Melinda Pratt of Moorefield, WV; two brothers, Donald Wilson & Roger Saville of Moorefield, WV; numerous nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren, SR 55 East of Moorefield, WV with Pastor Otis "Buzz" Weatherholt officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall. In keeping with Roses loving and generous spirit, it was her decision to help others through the WVU Human Gift Registry.
