Robert Wayne Wilson

Robert Wayne ?Bob? Wilson, age 77 of N Main Street, Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday evening, November 28, 2011 at Grant Memorial Hospital, Petersburg, WV. Born November 17, 1934 in Hardy CO., WV, he was the son of the late Mada (Turner) Wilson-Shiflett & Claude Oscar Wilson. His wife, Barbara A. ?Pud? (Vance) Wilson preceded him in death in February 2005. A great-grandson, Trenton Scott Carlson also preceded him in death. Bob was a past member of the Moorefield Town Council where he served on the Water Department and the Park Commission. He was responsible for the construction of the ?C? ballfield at the town park. He also was a Coach and Assistant Coach for the Moorefield Little League and Senior League Surviving is a son, Robert ?Robbie? Wilson (wife Jill) of Moorefield, WV; two daughters, Teresa ?Terri? Shockey (husband Harry) and Tena Wilson Conner (husband Ronnie) of Moorefield, WV; a brother, James Wilson of Frederick, MD; a sister, Mary Catherine Cain of Verona, VA; seven grandchildren; a step-granddaughter and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastors Katherine C. Jackson & Dan Howard officiating.
