Robert Lee Thomas

Robert Lee Thomas, age 91, of Bowie, MD passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Robert was born on December 27, 1931 in Milam, WV, a son of the late Irvin Lee Thomas and Mallie Edna Kuykendall Thomas. Robert was married to his wife Connie Jean Moomaw for 56 years whom he wed on December 23, 1956 in McGaheysville, VA. For the last 20 years of her life, she passed away in September 2014,  he cared for her as she battled Parkinson's disease. 

Surviving are two sons; Marc D. Thomas and his wife Andrea of Bowie, MD and Steven L. Thomas of Arlington, VA; five grandchildren - Chris, Parker, Dylan, Harper, and Piper; and two great grandchildren - Lily and Connie (twins).

A graveside service will be held 11:30 AM, Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Olivet Cemetery, 192 Olivet Drive, Moorefield, WV 26836.
