Rob Luzader (Smith) was born on May 20, 1967. At the age of two, his birth mother abandoned him at a baby sitters home and he was rescued and raised by Sue Newhouse. His life was difficult and challenging when he came into my life. It took many years to convince him that not only was he a wonderful person, he deserved love and caring more than anyone I had ever met. For the past twenty-five years he had someone who loved him more than any other person. When we last spoke Rob made it clear he now enjoyed a life of love and security, and knew the value he gave to the world. Rob didnt just get love, he gave love. He was always there when anyone needed him and he gave totally of himself, never asking for anything in return. On Monday April 11 he flew to California to look after Aunt Dot after her surgery. He was terrified of flying but he went because he was needed. While he waited for her to return home he cleaned her house from top to bottom and made sure it would be comfortable for her. Wednesday night April 20, 2016 at 9:30 PM I received a call from California telling me he was dead. I lost the most important person in my life and the world lost a kind caring man who only saw the good in other people in spite of his past. Rob Luzader Smith is already very much missed by his current family; long term partner Rick C. Smith, his sister Linda Keller, brother Joe Smith and all of Robs nephews, nieces, friends and early family, including brothers, Steve & Tom Luzader and his sister, Bess who preceded him in death.
