Robert "Bobby" Lucas

Robert Dewana Bobby Lucas, age 57 of Overlook St, Moorefield, WV passed away Tuesday morning January 9, 2018 surrounded by family at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born May 5, 1960 in Keyser, WV he was a son of the late Richard L. Lucas and Frances Mary Streets. He was raised by the late Marge and Jul Riggleman of Moorefield. A brother also preceded him in death. Bobby spent his entire adulthood helping others. This is evident in his commitment of 32 years to the Moorefield Volunteer Fire Company-46, 20+ years to Fraley Ambulance Service as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Love Memorial Clinic. His love of the outdoors was spent hunting and fishing and he held a Lifetime membership in Buck Masters. Bobby always gave 120% of himself to anything he was involved. Surviving is his wife of 27 years, Lynnie (Wilkins) Lucas; a son, Hunter D. Lucas and fiancé Jordan Coffman of Keyser, WV; a daughter, Shayla and husband Wesley Keplinger of Purgitsville, WV; seven brothers; seven sisters and five grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Believers Victory Center, Route 48 West of Moorefield with Pastor Chris Whetzel officiant. A Firemans procession will lead to the interment at Salem Mennonite Church Cemetery, Parker Hollow Road, Baker, WV. The family will receive friends from 4 8 PM Friday at the Believers Victory Center near Moorefield. Memorials may be directed to the M.S.A.
