Robert Mortimer Hardy

Robert ?Rob? Mortimer Hardy, age 25 of Fairmont, WV passed away Saturday morning, October 27, 2007 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born March 31, 1982 in Winchester, VA; he was the son of Katherine Silliman Hefner & Roger Hefner of Summerville, SC and Tim Hardy & Nicole (Ferguson) Hardy of Braselton, GA. Rob was a graduate of Moorefield High School Class of 2000 and was a senior at Fairmont State University. Surviving in addition to his parents is a brother, Adam Hardy of Summerville, SC; two step-brothers, Brian Hefner of Atlanta, GA & A.J. Kelly of Philadelphia, MS; a half-sister, Courtney Hardy at home; a step-sister, Julie Hefner-Ferrell of Charleston, WV; a niece, Aubrey Kristin Magpantay; maternal grandparents; Charles & Carmen Silliman of Moorefield, WV; paternal grandparents, Vaughn and the late Howard Hardy of Rig, WV; paternal great-grandfather, Robert Burns Barr of Rig, WV. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, November 1, 2007 at the Moorefield Presbyterian Church with Pastor Katherine Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Wednesday at the Moorefield Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Moorefield High School Band, 401 North Main Street, Moorefield, WV 26836.
