Robert Delawder

Robert Delawder, age 73 of Railroad St., Moorefield, WV, passed away Sunday evening, February 8, 2004 at his residence. Born May 4, 1930 in Hardy County, WV he was a son of the late James F. & Blanche M. (Sine) Delawder. He was a member and an Honorary Deacon of the Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren. A son, seven brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife of 53 years, Helen L. (Vetter) Delawder; a son, Monte Delawder of Moorefield; two daughters, Vickie D. Pratt and Deborah D. Ketterman of Moorefield; a sister, Betty See of Moorefield; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted Wednesday, February 11, 2004, at the Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren, Route 55 East of Moorefield with Pastor Don Knotts officiating. Interment followed at the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield. prior to services on Wednesday. Memorials may be directed to the Grant Memorial Hospice, P.O. Box 1019, Petersburg, WV 26847.
