"Richie" Turbeville

Richard Eugene “Richie” Turberville, 32 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Friday morning, September 27, 2024, in Moorefield. Born on January 10, 1992, in Mt. Vernon, OH, he was a son of Daryl E. McWhorter of East Canton, OH and the late Lorie Arlene Turberville McWhorter Martin.

 Richie attended Moorefield High School. He worked at Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. and he touched the lives of many during his years as a recovery coach, where he dedicated himself to helping others.

 Richie is survived by his two sons (Richard E. Turbeville II & Elijah G. Keener, both of Moorefield, WV), his father (Daryl E. McWhorter of East Canton, OH), four brothers (Bryan A. McWhorter of Durham, NC, Charles A. McWhorter (Ali) of Durham, NC, Daniel A. McWhorter (Clara) of Phillipi, WV, Christian L. Turbeville (Madi) of Berkeley Springs, WV), two sisters (Kimberly A. Frazier (Joe) of Minerva, OH, Destiny S. McWhorter (Brandon) of Moorefield, WV). 

 Richie is also survived by his extended family; Tammy L. Gilhuys "Momma Tammy" of Moorefield, WV, Steven D. Weese of Moorefield, WV, Paul S. Keener (Kristen) of Moorefield, WV, Sarah A. Keener of McKeesport, PA, Emily K. Keener of Moorefield, WV.

 A Service of Remembrance will be conducted at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, starting at 7:00 PM, with Pastors Charles Henry & Adam Donahue leading the service. Prior to the ceremony, family and friends are invited to gather beginning 5:00 PM to share their memories of Richie and find solace in each other's company.
