Richard Raymond Moyers

Richard Raymond Moyers, age 78 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday morning, April 17, 2006 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born March 3, 1928 in Pansy, WV, he was the son of the late John O. & Anna May (Kuykendall) Moyers. Richard most recently retired from Hester Industries having previously worked for Pownell Farms for over 19 years and he also worked for Virginia Power. He was a member of the Bethel Church of the Brethren. An infant son, a son, PFC Richard Lee Moyers, a brother and a sister preceded him in death. Surviving is his loving wife of 59 years, Sue (Bobo) Moyers; three sons, Donnie Moyers and wife Pat of Petersburg, WV, Larry Moyers and wife Susie & David Moyers and wife Lisa of Moorefield, WV; two daughters, Linda Bowman and husband John of Fisher, WV and Diane Miller and husband Mike of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Otho Moyers of Petersburg, WV; fifteen grandchildren, Marcee Kesner, Butch Moyers, Mike Moyers, Marissa Moyers, Marenda Moyers, Tammy Regester, Tim Bowman, Logan Moyers, Lucas Moyers, Lauren Moyers, Megan Miller, Kayla Miller, Jordan Miller, Jeffrey Moyers and Adam Moyers; and thirteen great-grandchildren, Katelyn Kesner, Kalab Kesner, Ethan Moyers, Hannah Moyers, Chase Moyers, Madison McKay, Erica Regester, Jared Regester, Brandon Regester, Michaela Regester, T.J. Bowman, Jacob Bowman and Karli Bowman. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, April 20, 2006 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Don Knotts officiating. Interment will follow at the Sites Family Cemetery, Pansy, WV. Friends may call after 12:00 PM (Noon) and the family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 7 ? 9 PM Wednesday at the Fraley Funeral Home. The grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be directed to the Charity of Choice.
