Raymond Ray McCauley

Raymond Ray McCauley, age 73 of Gelia Street, Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2009, at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born March 11, 1935 in Huttonsville, WV, he was the son of the late Perry W. & Josephine (Taylor) McCauley. He was preceded in death by 5 sisters, 5 brothers and several nieces and nephews. Raymond worked for Hayes Scott Rail & Lumber in Mill Creek, WV until his retirement. He had also worked for Coastal Lumber Company at Dailey, WV and other places as a machinist. He attended schools in Mill Creek & Huttonsville, WV. He loved to walk and take drives until his illness. Surviving is his wife, Sandy (Bittinger) McCauley; two sons, Greg McCauley & Michael McCauley of Moorefield, WV; three daughters, Donna McCauley & Terry (husband Leonard) McDonald of Moorefield, WV and Annette Thomas; two brothers, Franklin (best friend Elma) McCauley of Elkins, WV and Freddie McCauley of Harman, WV; two sisters, Martha (husband Raymond) Scott of Mill Creek, WV and Betty McCauley of Valley Head, WV; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Katherine C. Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM (Noon) until time of services on Tuesday.
