Raymond Arnold Pratt

Raymond Arnold Pratt, age 66 of Cold Spring Rd, Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 9, 2015 at his residence. Born November 13, 1948 at Ft. Run, Moorefield, WV, he was the son of the late Edwin Murray Pratt and Vern Otilley (Hose) Pratt. He was a US Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Denney-Moyers-Pratt Post #9606 V.F.W and the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Chapter #579. Surviving is his wife of 43 years, Vickie Lynn (Delawder) Pratt, two sons, Captain Travis Arnold Pratt of Ft. Gordon, GA and Major Robert Steven Pratt of Camp Lejune, NC; five brothers, Jake Pratt, Murphy Pratt, Chester Pratt, Edwin Pratt & Landon Shobe, all of Moorefield, WV; two sisters Janet Bosley of Moorefield, WV and Lena Coby of Columbus, MN and three grandchildren, Victoria, Alexander & Lilly. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Katherine Jackson officiating. Interment will follow with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the US Marine Corps at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
