Rachel Marie Crider

Rachel Marie Crider, age 77 of Old Fields, WV, passed away Monday morning, March 14, 2011 at her son?s residence in Old Fields. Born November 21, 1933 in Roanoke, VA, she was the daughter of the late Jesse C. & Mary Sweeney. Her husband Johnnie C. Crider, Sr. preceded her in death in December 1992. A daughter, five brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death. Surviving are four sons, Johnnie C. Crider, Jr., Danny Crider & Kenny Crider of Old Fields, WV and Marshall Crider of Adams, WI; two daughters, Sharon Walters & Mary Funk of Old Fields, WV; twelve grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St. Interment will follow at the Crider Family Cemetery, Old Fields, WV. The family will receive friends from 6 ? 9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
