Phyllis Luella Hose

Phyllis Luella Hose, age 92 of South Fork Road, Moorefield, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday morning, November 26, 2021, at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Phyllis was born on September 17, 1929, in Hardy Co., WV, a daughter of the late Richel Scott Kessel and Effie Lee Bosley Kessel. Her husband, Olen Ray Hose preceded her in death in April 1995. A son, Dalton, four sisters and a brother also preceded her in death.

Phyllis worked at Hester’s for over 20 years before retiring to care for her husband.

She married her husband on June 6, 1945, and together they had five children; Delmas (Virginia) Hose of Augusta, WV, Wanda Nesselrodt of Moorefield, WV, Courtney (Tina) Hose of Old Fields, WV and Wilma Kelly of Lexington, VA; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and a sister, Velda Wolfe of Old Fields, WV.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday November 30, 2021 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street. Interment will follow at the Bethel Cemetery, Old Fields, WV. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Monday at the funeral home.

Due to the current COVID-19 recommendations, wearing of masks and social distancing by individuals unvaccinated is recommended.
