Phyllis Marie Crites

Phyllis Marie Crites, age 80 of Fisher, WV, passed away Friday morning, June 8, 2018 at the Grant Rehabilitation & Care Center in Petersburg, WV. Born on January 19, 1938 she was a daughter of the late Alston R. Kessel and Edith Lola Pratt Turner Woerner. Phyllis was a crafty person and would paint and draw often. She enjoyed cooking and baking for the family and once tried her hand at making cheese. She enjoyed gardening especially flowers, mainly roses. Her grandkids were very special even if they were ornery sometimes. She loved taking trips and travelling, always exploring somewhere new. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert William Bob Crites; three sons, Matthew and Cathy Crites of Moorefield, WV, Craig & Tammy Crites of Fisher, WV and Eric & Teresa Crites of Fisher, WV; a sister, Mary Alice Hyre of Old Fields, WV; five grandsons; five great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, June 11, 2018 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastors Brad Taylor & Russell Webster officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 7 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
