Peggy Cosner

Peggy Susan Cosner, age 76 of U.S. Hwy 220 South of Moorefield, WV passed away Thursday June 26, 2003 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born May 13, 1927 in Purgitsville, WV, she was a daughter of the late Jessie Columbus and Ethel (Shoemaker) Parsons. She was preceded in death by one brother. Surviving is her husband Calvin L. Cosner, One Daughter; Darlene Clower Southerly of Moorefield. Four Brothers; June Parsons, Moorefield, WV, Ernest Parsons of Ridgley, WV, Paul Parsons of Petersburg, WV and Fred Parsons of Texas. Two sisters; Martha Houdersheldt of Ridgley, WV and Stella Kesner of Dorcas, WV, one grandson and one great-granddaughter. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 28, 2003 at 10:00 AM at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Donald Knotts and Pastor Dan Howard Officiating. Interment will follow at the Idleman Cemetery at Scheer, WV. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 ? 4 and 7 ? 9 at the Fraley Funeral Home. Mrs. Cosner was retired from the American Woodmark Corp. after 31 years and Brethren by Faith.
