Paul Andrew Walters, age 81 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Wednesday morning September 19, 2012 at his residence. Born August 29, 1931 in Kessel, WV, he was the son of the late Amos Ray Walters and Annie Susan (Burns) Walters. A daughter Rita, three brothers and a sister preceded him in death. He was a member of the Duffey Memorial United Methodist Church and a member of the Potomac Valley Men?s Choir. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the John M. Golliday Post #64 American Legion. He was a route salesman for Stroehmann Bakery from which he retired and then worked and retired from the Hardy County Assessors Office. Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Mary E. (Leatherman) Walters; two sons, Andrew Walters (wife Bonnie) of Moorefield, WV and Mark Walters (wife Kathy) of Petersburg, WV; a brother, Lawrence Walters of Flat Rock, MI; three sisters, Mary Susan Eye & Dorothy Barr of Moorefield, WV and Catherine Riggleman of Berkeley Springs, WV; four grandchildren, Andrea, Tiffany, Brittany & Nicholas and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00 AM Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Jay Parkins officiating. Interment with Military Graveside Rites Accorded will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
