Patsy Ann Smith

Patsy Ann Smith, age 58 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday morning, January 1, 2015 at her residence. Born September 28, 1956 in Harrisonburg, VA, she was the daughter of Donnie Ray Smith and the late Goldie Arlene (Lantz) Smith. A sister and a brother also preceded her in death. She attended Musselman High School but achieved her GED at the South Branch Valley Vocational & Technical Center in Petersburg, WV. She frequented the Red Cross Bloodmobile, where she achieved a 6 Gallon pin. A Washington Redskin fan, she was a jigsaw puzzle fanatic and loved to sew in her spare time. Surviving in addition to her father, is her longtime companion, Roy Mitchell; four sons, William D. Smith, Jr. and his girlfriend Angela Yancey of Martinsburg, WV, Michael J. (Jennifer) Smith of Berkeley Springs, WV, Christopher L. (Shannon) Smith of Augusta, WV and Nathan A. (Jessie) Smith of Hedgesville, WV; two brothers, Donnie R. Smith, Jr & Carroll Smith; five sisters, Pauline Crites, Luretta Dove, Linda Ely, Donna Weatherholtz & Lisa Keplinger and eleven grandchildren, Aaron Trump, Samantha Smith, Conway Smith, Dalton Smith, Dominick Smith, Nathan Smith, Daisy Smith, Michael Smith, II, Jenna Rose, Anthony Franklin & Heaven Yancey. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
