Patricia Dawn Sterling

Patricia "Patty" Dawn Sterling, age 51 of Keyser Avenue, Petersburg, WV, passed away Sunday morning, May 20, 2018, at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born on June 4, 1966 in Petersburg, WV, she was a daughter of the late James Victor "Vick" Helmick and Vivian Bessie Ayers Helmick. Patty enjoyed socializing, crafts, coloring, and crossword puzzles. Surviving is her sister, Sharon B. & Ronnie VanMeter of Moorefield, WV; four brothers, Dorman E. & Wilma Helmick of Moorefield, WV, Jessie L. Helmick of Lakeland, FL, Justin W. "Chuck" & Rose Helmick of Moorefield, WV and Timothy R. & Cheryl Helmick of Romney, WV; numerous nieces and nephews, her four legged furry friend, Bear, and her significant other, William Wells. A Graveside Committal Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the Baldwin Cemetery near Moorefield, WV.
