Patricia Joanne Saager

Patricia Joanne Saager, age 52 of Fish Pond Road, Old Fields, WV, passed away Saturday evening, January 23, 2021 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born on October 23, 1968 in Petersburg, WV, she was a daughter of Joanne Gertrude Hardy Smith of Morgantown, WV and the late Darley Dorise Smith. Her husband of 34 years, Reinhold Scott Saager preceded her in death in December 2020.

Patricia was a strong independent woman who had an intense love for her family and her friends.  She enjoyed music and television, nature and animals, arts and crafts, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  Being loved by so many, she always did what she could to elevate their lives in some way.  The life we all know will never be the same without Patricia as she will be forever missed by her family and friends

Surviving in addition to her mother, is a son, Marcus Saager of Stafford, VA; a daughter, Samantha Saager of Old Fields, WV; two grandchildren, Jaxson and Ryleigh; a brother, Travis S. Smith of Morgantown, WV; three nephews and a niece.
