Olene Evans Bean

Olene Evans Bean, age 83 of North River Road, Bean Settlement, WV, passed away Wednesday evening, October 4, 2006 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born May 17, 1923 in Hardy Co., WV, she was a daughter of the late Howard E. Evans, Sr. & Lauretta B. (Marshall) Evans. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bean Settlement Church of the Brethren. Her husband, Marvin W. Bean preceded her in death in February 1971. A brother, Howard E. Evans, Jr. also preceded her in death. Surviving is a daughter, Carol Lindsey of Ashburn, VA; two sons, Gary Bean of Moorefield, WV and Karl Bean of Baker, WV; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, October 7, 2006 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Burl Charlton officiating. Interment will follow at the Asbury Cemetery, Bean Settlement, WV. The family will receive friends from 7 ? 9 PM Friday at the Fraley Funeral Home.
