Nina Grace Wratchford, age 88 of North Main Street, Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday morning, August 11, 2020, at the E.A. Hawse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Baker, WV. Born on May 31, 1932, in Hardy County, WV, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Hedrick and Ethel Judith Heavner Hedrick. Her husband of almost 65 years, Millard Edward “Fuzz” Wratchford preceded her in death in September 2015. The last member of her immediate family, she also was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers, including her twin brother George.
Nina enjoyed traveling, especially with a group, taking bus trips to any location interesting, but she most enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching traffic pass by for hours. When she found time to venture out, she collected red glassware and would try to find that special piece.
Surviving is a daughter Elizabeth (Bill) Wratchford Boothe of Moorefield, WV along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews and her adopted family at neighboring Capon Valley Bank.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 PM (Noon), Friday, August 14, 2020, at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Russell & Lucy Webster as officiants. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM Friday until time of services.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, wearing of masks and social distancing will be required at the funeral home at all times.
