"Nanny" Alice Elizabeth Bean

Alice Elizabeth ?Nanny? Bean, age 88 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Friday evening, December 2, 2005 at the E.A. Hawse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Baker, WV. Born September 30, 1917 in Moorefield, WV she was the daughter of the late Samuel J. & Gertrude (Woy) Day. Her husband, Ray Bean preceded her in death in August 1978. An infant brother and a sister also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Moorefield Church of the Brethren. Surviving are two sons, Sam Bean of Moorefield, WV and W.E. Bean of Winchester, VA; a brother, William J. Day of Bon Air, VA; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, December 5, 2005 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Brad Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at the Asbury Cemetery in Bean Settlement, WV. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 6 PM Sunday at the Fraley Funeral Home.
