Myrtle Lee Webster

Myrtle Lee Webster, age 92 of S. Main Street, Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday evening, December 22, 2009 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born March 5, 1917 in Hardy Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late James & Sarah (Hose) Shockey. Her husband, Vernon W. Webster, Sr. preceded her in death in May 1980. Two sisters and three brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Vernon W. Webster, Jr. (wife Irene) of Moorefield, WV & Buddy L. Webster (wife Jo Anne) of Mathias, WV; a daughter, Annabelle Barr (husband Dwane) of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Donald Shockey of Moorefield, WV; two sisters, Mary Ratliff of Moorefield, WV & Pauline Baldwin of Baltimore, MD; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, a step-grandson and four step-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, December 27, 2009 at the Duffey Memorial United Methodist Church (corner of N Elm St & Winchester Ave) in Moorefield with the Rev. Jay Parkins officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Saturday at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St.
