Moses Britton Caldwell ?Mose? Wratchford, age 75 of Moorefield, WV passed away Sunday morning, November 24, 2002 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born may 30, 1927 in Hardy County, WV he was a son of the late James W. & Martha (Hartman) Wratchford. He was a member of the Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Surviving is his wife, Clara (High) Wratchford; Sons, Marvin Wratchford and Allen Wratchford of Moorefield, WV; Steven Wratchford of Louisville, KY and Michael Wratchford of Norfolk, VA; Daughters, Judy James of Bunker Hill, WV; Carol Zirk of Moorefield, WV and Mary (Kathy) Berg of Maysville, WV; Brothers, Russell Wratchford and Blaine Wratchford of Moorefield, WV; 13 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at the Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren with Pastor Don Knotts officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery at Purgitsville, WV. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 7 ? 9 PM Tuesday at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield. Mr. Wratchford will be taken to the church one hour prior to services on Wednesday.
