Mondolea Whetzel Raines

Mondolea "Monty" Raines, age 78 passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at her home in Falls Church, VA. Born September 23, 1933 in Hardy Co., WV she was a daughter of the late Noah and Lucy (Helmick) Whetzel. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Raines whom preceded her in death in July 2004; mother of Charles Raines, Jr. and Diana Dean; grandmother of Amanda Dean and Jessica and Matthew Raines; and great-grandmother of Nathan and Mckenzie Dean and sister of Evolena Bergdoll. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Geraldine Reel & Kathleen Kerr and a brother Wayne Whetzel. Relatives and friends may call at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., Moorefield, WV, Monday, August 13, 2012 between 10 am and noon. Funeral services will be conducted at noon with Pastors Russell & Lucy Webster officiating. Internment will follow at Olivet Cemetery immediately following.
