Molly Ann (Taylor) Wolfe, age 78 of Moorefield, WV went to her Heavenly Home on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Molly was born on October 17, 1942, in Hardy County and was a daughter of the late Herman Harrison Taylor, Sr. and Martha Sarah (Runions) Taylor. In addition to her parents, Molly was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Melvin Wolfe on March 23, 2012, and two brothers, Herman Taylor, Jr., and David Lee Taylor.
Molly is survived by six sons, Steven (Wilma) Wolfe of Baker, WV; Randall (Joyce) Wolfe, Andrew (Heidi) Wolfe, Nick (Brenda) Wolfe, Wayne T. (Penny) Wolfe and Ben (Tamara) Wolfe all of Moorefield, WV; two daughters, Tracy (Craig) Sherman and Lorena (Todd) Snyder both of Moorefield, WV; five brothers, Bobby (Deb) Taylor of Purgitsville, WV, Byron “Peanut” (Sandra) Taylor of Rig, WV, Raymond (Joan) Taylor of Burlington, WV, Johnny (Becky) Taylor of Purgitsville, WV and Pastor Brad (Terri) Taylor of Petersburg, WV; four sisters, Martha (Steve) Wolfe of Moorefield, WV, Judy Swick of Petersburg, WV, Nellie (Greg) Delawder of Moorefield, WV and Pat (Sam) Bean of Moorefield, WV; 24 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Molly graduated from Moorefield High School in 1960. She was an avid reader who loved learning. She spent her life being a homemaker. One of her greatest joys was to babysit and watch her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. She was a member of Rig Assembly of God Church. Earlier in life, Molly was a longtime Sunday School teacher and treasurer at Moorefield Assembly of God.
Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, June 13, 2021 at the Rig Assembly of God Church with Pastors Brad Taylor and Lane Lee officiants. Interment will follow at the Wayne Wolfe Family Cemetery, Moorefield, WV. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM (noon) until time of services at 2:00 PM at the Rig Assembly of God Church.
