Mollie Etta Newhouse

Mollie Etta Newhouse, age 98 of Rig, WV passed away Wednesday morning, May 26, 2004 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born May 22, 1906 in Rig, WV she was the daughter of the late George F. & Mary Etta (Crites) Eye. Mollie attended the Rig Assembly of God Church and retired from Rockingham Poultry in August 1969. A brother, Seymour Eye and three sisters, Annie Hardy, Eula Crites and her twin sister, Ollie Hinkle, preceded her in death. She was the last member of her immediate family. Surviving is a son, Norman Newhouse of Moorefield, WV; a daughter, Mary Crites of Rig, WV; three granddaughters, Wilma Mallow and husband Melvin of Moorefield, Terri Taylor and husband Brad of Petersburg, WV, Tammy Crites and husband Craig of Fisher, WV; a grandson, Bradley Crites of Moorefield; three great-grand-daughters, Marlo Curran and husband Philip of Moorefield, Melissa Fishback and husband Rick of Winchester, VA and Emily Taylor of Petersburg, WV; two great-grandsons, Adam Crites and Aaron Crites of Fisher, WV; and two great-great-granddaughters, Maegan Curran of Moorefield & Mollie Fishback of Winchester, VA. Funeral Services were conducted Saturday, May 29, 2004 at the Rig Assembly of God Church with Pastor Brad Taylor officiating. Interment followed at the Crites-Eye Cemetery.
